Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant. This vital role combines exceptional patient care and service with efficient administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for patients and referring offices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Duties

  • Greet visitors warmly, verify appointments, and direct them appropriately to ensure a professional first impression.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, answer inquiries promptly, and route calls to the correct departments or personnel.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, including data entry and document proofreading to support office workflows.
  • Assist with clerical tasks including copying, faxing, mailing, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
  • Provide patient and family support by answering inquiries via phone or email with courteous phone etiquette and professionalism.

Skills

  • Proven experience in front desk operations and patient service with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry skills.
  • Strong clerical experience including proofreading and document management.
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to handle high-volume calls smoothly.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.21 per hour
