Front Desk Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team in a hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest relations, managing front desk staff, and maintaining efficient communication between departments. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Looking for Full Time and Part Time positions

Duties

  • Supervise and train front desk staff to provide outstanding customer service and hospitality.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and services to assist guests effectively.
  • Oversee the night audit process, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and balancing of accounts.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively for reservations, inquiries, and communication with guests.
  • Implement strategies to improve guest relations and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Assist in managing inventory of front desk supplies and equipment.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong background in guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff alike.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in training and managing teams within a fast-paced environment.
