Front End Web Developer

JOB SUMMARY

The Frontend Web Developer will be responsible for building modern, responsive client websites and landing pages using React and other contemporary frontend technologies. You will work with WordPress as a content management system and collaborate with our team to implement SEO best practices and optimize user experiences across all digital platforms.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop modern, responsive websites and landing pages using React and contemporary frontend frameworks.
• Build and customize WordPress themes and components to integrate with React-based frontends.
• Implement responsive design principles ensuring optimal user experience across all devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to implement technical SEO requirements and performance optimizations.
• Optimize website performance, loading times, and user interface interactions.
• Work closely with design and content teams to transform mockups and wireframes into functional, interactive web experiences.
• Integrate analytics tools, tracking pixels, and third-party services as needed.
• Maintain code quality through testing, version control, and adherence to best practices.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Strong experience with React.js including hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Vue.js experience is a strong plus and will be highly valued.
• Proficiency in modern HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with WordPress development, theme customization, and PHP basics.
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS), build tools (Webpack, Vite), and package managers (npm/yarn).
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) and mobile-first development.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
• Familiarity with analytics implementation (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of headless CMS architectures
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience with API integration and REST/GraphQL
• Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) standards

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in frontend web development, with demonstrated experience in React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• WordPress experience required.
