Front Line Officer - Financial Reporting & Audit

Job Purpose

  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with detailed analysis.
  • Provide variance analysis and address observations from regulatory agencies.
  • Contribute data to the Corporate Governance and Legal Compliances reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to the Corporate Finance Division (CFD).
  • Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFC) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Forex Hedging
  • Oversee the preparation of reports related to foreign currency payments and collections.
  • Ensure SOP compliance in all forex hedging activities.
  • Prepare monthly reports on Forex Gains and Losses.
  • Inter-Unit and Related Party Reconciliation
  • Prepare annual budgets and expense ratios for inter-unit transactions.
  • Lead coordination for annual planning and obtain board approvals.
  • Perform balance and transaction confirmations (monthly/quarterly) for inter-unit and related party accounts.
  • Validate balances in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and coordinate with CFD.
  • Ensure monthly checks of inter-unit-related invoices and transactions.
  • Audit Coordination
  • Liaise with internal and statutory auditors as per their audit schedules.
  • Review audit scope and ensure department-level cooperation.
  • Assist in drafting responses to audit queries and observations.
  • Provide relevant documentation and justification for audit points.
  • Insurance Management
  • Prepare annual insurance data and budgets.
  • Review and propose insurance coverage, gathering quotations from ABIBL or other providers.
  • Maintain and regularly update the insurance policy tracker.
  • Finalize policies with the Designated Head (DH), ensuring optimal terms and valuations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly insurance declarations.
  • Coordinate with HR for employee-related insurance and manage credit/debit balances.
  • Match prepaid expenses with the General Ledger (GL) on a monthly basis.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience in financial reporting, forex management, reconciliations, audit coordination, and insurance.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and legal compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (HFM preferred), MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
