Front of House Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for the culinary industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices.
• Promote menu items through upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers effectively.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant experience or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Culinary knowledge or interest is beneficial but not required.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
