Front of House Team Member

Now, we are on the lookout for friendly and skilled front of house staff members to join our team and elevate the experience for our take-out patrons at our Jericho location.

As a front of house team member at Stone’s Throw, you will be at the forefront of providing an outstanding customer experience. From taking orders at the counter to seating guests and serving pizzas, your role is pivotal in shaping the unique pairings that tie our offerings together. We are seeking individuals with an interest in customer service, complemented by a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the art of pizza.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and nurture an exceptional customer experience to Stone’s Throw Jericho patrons
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Learn and provide guests with a basic knowledge of the menu, retail items and products we offer
• Take customer orders and payment accurately and efficiently, including phone orders
• Support the management of online take-out orders
• Assist with set up and service for events and private rentals
• Comply with all Vermont food and beverage regulations and maintain safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Prior experience in customer service or a food service role preferred, but not required
• Successful completion of the Vermont On-Premises Responsible Serving of Alcohol course by the start of employment
• Must be at least 15 years old, and 18 years of age to pour and serve alcohol
• Computer literacy, experience with Toast POS system a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule during our service hours Sunday-Thursday 4pm to 8pm and Friday-Saturday 4pm-9pm. Must be able to work weekends.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
