Role Overview
The Front Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing front desk operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional guest service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to foster a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage front office staff, including receptionists and guest service agents.
- Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
- Monitor occupancy levels, reservations, and room allocations.
- Train and mentor front office staff to maintain service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Qatari hospitality regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on front office performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in front office management or hospitality leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
