Front Office Supervisor - Nest Hotel

The Front Office Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations of the front desk, providing exceptional guest service and overseeing the performance of the front office team. This role is responsible for supervising check-in/check-out procedures, handling guest concerns, and maintaining service standards that reflect the hotel's brand and values.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervise front desk operations to ensure efficient and courteous service to guests.
  • Support and guide front office staff, including training, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
  • Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee check-in, check-out, reservations, and cashiering to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness and guest requests.
  • Conduct shift briefings, assign duties, and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Monitor lobby appearance and ensure guest-facing areas are clean and welcoming.
  • Assist in maintaining records, preparing reports, and updating guest information systems.
  • Uphold hotel security, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Act as the first point of escalation in the absence of the Duty Manager.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (preferred).
Experience
  • 2-3 years of front office experience in the hotel industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of PMS/Hotel systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
