About the Family

Warm, organized blended family in Madison is seeking a long-term, professional full-time nanny. The primary focus is their 15-month-old child. Mom is currently pregnant and due in May.

When the baby arrives, there will be a baby nurse in place, and mom will remain home with the newborn until September. During this time, the nanny’s primary responsibility will remain the toddler. Once mom returns to work and the infant care specialist completes her contract, the nanny’s role will gradually include care of the baby as well. There will be no change in compensation when responsibilities expand, there are more limited responsibilities until that time though you will receive full compensation even prior to the arrival of the baby.

Dad has two preteen boys from a previous marriage who are in the home Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other weekend. They have their own dedicated nanny who is warm, flexible, and a true team player. The household is harmonious and collaborative — everyone works well together and respects boundaries. There is no spillover of responsibility between roles.

This is a well-run home seeking a steady professional to join the team long-term.
