Fuel Depot officer

Department Supply Chain Position Fuel Depot Officer Location Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan Qualification Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred. Experience Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in fuel handling, logistics, or depot management. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of fuel handling procedures, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate fuel dispensing and storage equipment safely.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the fuel depot, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fuel.
• Monitor fuel levels and ensure adequate stock to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure that all fuel handling procedures comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Perform regular checks on fuel storage tanks, pumps, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Coordinate fuel deliveries, managing schedules to ensure timely receipt and distribution.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel inventory, receipts, and dispatches.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent spills, leaks, and other hazards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure fuel needs are met efficiently.
• Conduct periodic audits of fuel stock and report discrepancies or issues to management.
• Provide training to depot staff on safe fuel handling procedures and emergency response protocols.
