Qualification
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in fuel handling, logistics, or depot management.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fuel handling procedures, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to operate fuel dispensing and storage equipment safely.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks and work in outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fuel depot, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of fuel.
- Monitor fuel levels and ensure adequate stock to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure that all fuel handling procedures comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Perform regular checks on fuel storage tanks, pumps, and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Coordinate fuel deliveries, managing schedules to ensure timely receipt and distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of fuel inventory, receipts, and dispatches.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent spills, leaks, and other hazards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure fuel needs are met efficiently.
- Conduct periodic audits of fuel stock and report discrepancies or issues to management.
- Provide training to depot staff on safe fuel handling procedures and emergency response protocols.
