Fuel Dispatcher

Position: Dispatcher/Scheduler

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Fleet Dispatcher to help keep our drivers, loads, and customers running smoothly. Safety, communication, and teamwork are key in this role, and no two days are ever the same!

What You’ll Do

• Keep safety top of mind in everything you do
• Handle order entry and make sure everything is accurate and up to date
• Schedule driver routes around customer needs and DOT safety guidelines
• Stay in touch with drivers to make sure they have what they need to succeed
• Relay any service issues to Management and Customers quickly
• Build loads, plan routes, and stay on schedule
• Assign loads fairly and prioritize timely deliveries
• Track loads and make sure deliveries happen on time
• Support drivers with legal hours-of-service and ELD compliance
• Check in with drivers throughout their trips
• Monitor store and terminal inventories to avoid run-outs
• Be friendly and professional with drivers, customers, and the team
• Work closely with the office staff, Director of Operations, and Customers
• On-Call in a rotating schedule

• Help out with other tasks as assigned by your manager

What We’re Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent
• About one year of dispatch or customer service experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of DOT rules and transportation standards
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized
• Self-starter with attention to detail
• Professional, friendly, and dependable
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and different Softwares
• Some Weekend and Holiday Availability

• Sitting for long periods
• Talking, hearing, and paying attention to screens
• Occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds

Your Schedule

• Monday – Friday 8a-5p in office
• Available as Scheduler on rotating weekends/holidays
