Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Overview
Family owned septic business seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of the company's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting, managing the general ledger, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial statements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to become a part of our growing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account analyses to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to verify account balances and identify discrepancies early.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks online to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Process employee timesheets and manage payroll tax fillings with payroll company.
  • Generate detailed financial reports including income statements, cash flow statements, profit and loss statements and budget comparisons for management review.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
  • Expertise in bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and accounts payable/receivable management.
  • Excellent skills in financial report writing, budgeting, and financial concept application.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Spring City, PA 19475
