Robert Half is currently hiring for a full-time direct-hire Full-Charge Bookkeeper with a client located in Clearwater, FL!
Responsibilities:

Perform full-cycle accounts payable functions, including reviewing, coding, entering, and processing vendor invoices while ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Manage accounts receivable processes by generating invoices, posting customer payments, reconciling accounts, and following up on outstanding balances as needed.

Complete monthly bank reconciliations by comparing internal records to bank statements, researching discrepancies, and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is properly classified and recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, adjustments, reclasses, and month-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing transactions, reconciling accounts, and closing the books in a timely manner.

Assist with creation of reports, comparing actual results to budget and identifying variances for management review.

Assist with processing payroll for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping experience.

Good understanding of debits and credits, along with overall accounting principles.

QuickBooks software experience highly preferred.

Ability to multitask and balance multiple accountings tasks.

Excellent communication and follow up skills.
