Full Charge Bookkeeper

Remote, but must reside in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.

We are a profitable, established twenty-year-old company seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the accounting operations of multiple affiliated companies. This is a hands-on accounting role for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.

This position works closely with leadership and the Controller and is ideal for someone who enjoys owning day-to-day accounting responsibilities.

We are seeking a strong individual contributor who can independently execute accounting functions with consistency and precision.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple affiliated entities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices and collections
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting documentation
  • Process payroll, commissions, and employee reimbursements
  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with cash tracking and operational financial reporting
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Maintain organized accounting records and files

· Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal teams on billing/payment issues

  • Maintain business licenses and insurance documentation
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding administration
  • Work closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy and operational organization

Requirements

  • Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ metro area
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
  • Strong QuickBooks Online experience 1 year minimum required
  • Experience handling accounting for multiple entities preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel and computer skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to independently identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
