Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper with strong NetSuite Manufacturing experience to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. This pivotal role involves handling all aspects of bookkeeping, financial record-keeping, and reporting with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, experience with various financial software systems, and a thorough understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Your expertise will ensure the integrity of our financial data, facilitate smooth audits, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite Manufacturing and Inventory modules and understands how manufacturing transactions impact inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS). This position works closely with ownership, operations, and the company’s CPA to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Full Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities

Focus: Transaction processing, reconciliations, month-end close support, and maintaining accurate books.

Accounts Payable

  • Record vendor bills
  • Perform 3-way PO matching
  • Prepare payment runs
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Resolve routine vendor discrepancies

Accounts Receivable

  • Generate customer invoices
  • Apply cash receipts
  • Monitor AR aging
  • Oversee order entry process
  • Follow up on collections
  • Research customer billing issues

Payroll Administration

  • Coordinate payroll processing with third-party payroll provider
  • Submit payroll data
  • Post payroll journal entries
  • Reconcile payroll liabilities
  • End of year payroll reconciliation – work with controller

NetSuite Administration (Operational)

  • Create routine saved searches and reports
  • Support users with daily NetSuite accounting functions
  • Maintain accounting records within NetSuite

Compliance Administration

  • Prepare sales tax and B&O tax support schedules
  • Maintain business licenses
  • Track insurance certificates
  • Assist with various audits
  • Assist with periodic close functions
  • Produce financial reports as requested
  • Other accounting duties as requested by management

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeper or senior bookkeeping experience Manufacturing industry experience Experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Payroll processing experience Strong account reconciliation skills Experience supporting month-end close processes Understanding of inventory/cost accounting and manufacturing transactions Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including Manufacturing and Inventory modules Experience with standard costing and inventory reconciliation Manufacturing industry experience Familiarity with Washington state sales/use tax and payroll requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
