Full Stack Developer (Node.js, React, PostgreSQL)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

This role requires a highly adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces change, and can quickly adjust to shifting project priorities and evolving business needs. You will work on both frontend and backend development, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development (React.js)

• Develop dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Implement reusable UI components using React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Optimize frontend performance for a seamless user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage state using tools like Redux or React Context API.

Backend Development (Node.js & Express.js/Nest.js)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
• Optimize backend performance and scalability.
• Handle real-time data processing using WebSockets if needed.

Database Management (PostgreSQL)

• Design and optimize relational database schemas.
• Write complex queries and stored procedures for efficient data retrieval.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and performance tuning.
• Use ORMs like Sequelize, TypeORM, or Prisma for database interactions.

Other Responsibilities

• Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and business priorities.
• Work closely with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Document code, APIs, and architectural decisions for future reference.
• Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript (preferred).
• Strong experience with React.js and state management libraries (Redux, Context API).
• Solid backend development skills with Node.js, Express.js/Nest.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, database design, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL (optional), and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of authentication & security best practices (JWT, OAuth, bcrypt, etc.).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes (optional).
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor the team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
