Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS, Software Engineer, or related domain
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Shopify development
• Candidates with a 3.5CGPA or above will be preferred
• Strong proficiency in React.js, React Native, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience working with data structures or algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in school or work (e.g., open-source coding).
• Experience or familiarity with MERN stack or React Native.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify development tools

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (Preferrably Javascript)
• Experience with Rest & GraphQL APIs and third-party libraries
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment processes.
• Ability to learn other coding languages and stacks as needed
• AWS knowledge nice to have but not mandatory
• Experience developing accessible technologies

We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work on web development projects using technologies such as MERN stack and React Native.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Create RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in web development
