Full Stack Developer (MERN)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (MERN ) to join our on-site engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, contributing to technical architecture decisions, and mentoring junior developers.
This role is suited for individuals who take ownership of their work, follow best practices, and consistently deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and product teams to define and enhance application architecture
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code in line with industry best practices
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior developers
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services, including AI/ML integrations where applicable
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and support deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS
• Identify performance bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement effective solutions
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong hands-on expertise with MERN Stack.
• Proven experience developing backend services using FastAPI
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
• Experience with database design, indexing, and performance optimization (MongoDB / PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with Git or Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure is a plus)
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with microservices or serverless architectures
• Knowledge of WebSockets, GraphQL, or real-time systems
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations and Python-based ML frameworks
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, or TDD
• Prior experience mentoring junior developers or leading small teams
