Location: Bahria Town Lahore

Timings: 5pm to 2am

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience working in startup or product environments

Overview:

MGC Freight is looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to build and scale our web applications and marketing websites. You’ll work across the stack, from crafting fast, modern frontends in Next.js to designing robust backend services with NestJS and PostgreSQL.

You should be comfortable owning features end-to-end and deploying production workloads on Vercel and AWS.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js and NestJS
• Build reusable, clean, and performant frontend components
• Design and implement RESTful / GraphQL APIs
• Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, optimization, and queries
• Integrate Sanity CMS with Next.js website
• Deploy and manage frontend on Vercel and backend services on AWS
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Next.js (App Router preferred)
• Solid hands-on experience with NestJS
• Good command of PostgreSQL (indexing, relations, query optimization)
• Experience deploying apps on Vercel and AWS
• Experience integrating Sanity Headless CMS
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Familiarity with Git workflows
• SSR, SSG, ISR concepts in Next.js
• Responsive and pixel-perfect UI implementation
• Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals awareness)
• Modular NestJS architecture
• Authentication & authorization (JWT/session based)
• API security best practices
• Database migrations and schema design

Good to have:

• Experience with caching (Redis)
• SEO best practices for Next.js websites
