Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, and social skills.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, collaboration, and respectful behavior management.
- Incorporate learning technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparation.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Provide individualized support and tutoring for students needing extra help, including working with children with autism or those requiring early intervention services.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood or elementary settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Familiarity with special education practices, working with individuals with autism, and early intervention programs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Certification or licensure in early childhood education or equivalent credentials preferred.

Pay: $37,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
