Full time live in Nanny

A warm, family based in a private gated community in the Bahamas is seeking a dedicated, experienced live-in nanny to care for their two school-age children (ages 8 and 5). This long-term position is ideal for a patient, nurturing professional who is confident supporting children with mild anxiety and can provide a structured, calm, and engaging environment. The role offers a collaborative, fully staffed household, beautiful accommodations, and the opportunity for regular international travel.

Live-In Nanny (Long-Term)
Location: Private Gated Community, Bahamas
Start Date: ASAP
Children: Boy (8), Girl (5)
Pets: Two small hypoallergenic poodles

Schedule

Monday–Friday:

7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (split shift on Monday & Thursday)

One weekend day: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$38/hour (DOE), paid weekly
• 2 weeks paid vacation
• 2 sick days, 2 personal days
• 6 paid holidays
• Health insurance contribution (to be determined)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage morning routines, including school preparation and drop-off/pick-up (vehicle provided)
• Oversee daily schedules, extracurricular activities, and playdates
• Provide homework support and plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Offer patient, supportive care for a child with mild anxiety
• Maintain organization of children’s belongings, including uniforms and daily essentials

Travel

• Regular international and domestic travel, including destinations such as Spain, Toronto, and the Hamptons, as well as school breaks

Accommodations

• Private apartment featuring a kitchen, loft-style bedroom, living area, washer/dryer, and separate entrance

Work Environment

• Fully staffed household (chef and housekeeper)
• Located in a secure, private gated community
• Vehicle provided for work-related use

Requirements

• Valid passport and driver’s license
• Strong swimming ability
• Clean background check and medical clearance
• Proven experience with school-age children
• Experience supporting children with mild anxiety preferred
• Comfortable with frequent travel
