About Us

1st Choice Home Stays provides emergency housing for families who have lost everything to fires, floods, burst pipes, and other disasters. We're based in Idaho and Utah, and we're on a mission to become the most recognized brand in our industry by building a media presence around our team, highlighting reality TV show type content.

We're not looking for someone to "manage social media." We're looking for a creator who wants to help build something that's never existed in this space.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be our full-time media producer and content creator, responsible for filming, editing, and publishing content across every major platform every single day.

This is a documentary and reality show-style role. Think "The Office" meets a real company doing real work. You'll be embedded with our team, capturing the personalities, the energy, the chaos, the wins, and the hard days. The goal is to turn our team into characters that an audience follows by name and deeply loves.

Your day-to-day will include filming in-person content throughout the week across our business operations, team interactions, and behind-the-scenes moments. You'll capture high-volume footage in real-world environments and shape it into compelling, story-driven edits. You'll produce short-form content daily for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, as well as longer-form episodic YouTube videos on a weekly basis. You'll write LinkedIn posts in our founder's voice and manage posting schedules across all platforms. You'll run Trial Reels and A/B tests to figure out what hooks, formats, and topics perform best with new audiences, and you'll track performance data weekly so every decision is backed by what's actually working. You won't just execute a content calendar someone hands you. You'll help shape the creative direction, pitch ideas, develop recurring series, and push for the kind of big creative swings that make people share our content with everyone they know.

Who We're Looking For

Age doesn't matter. Background doesn't matter. What matters is that you have real experience creating media content and shaping the story you want to tell, a genuine passion for storytelling, and the instinct to know what makes people stop scrolling.

You're a strong fit if you:

• Have experience filming and editing video content
• Understand social media platforms deeply - what works on TikTok vs. Instagram vs. YouTube vs. LinkedIn vs. Facebook, and why
• Can edit real-life footage into engaging, story-driven content with strong pacing, hooks, and retention
• Are comfortable being around people and capturing authentic, unscripted moments
• Are tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools, platforms, and trends
• Can handle a high volume of footage and consistently deliver finished content on deadline
• Think like a creator, not just an editor - you see content opportunities everywhere
• Are reliable, self-motivated, and take full ownership of your work without needing constant direction
• Follow social media trends and understand what's working right now across platforms
• Can write engaging captions and adapt messaging for different audiences

Requirements

• Must be local to Treasure Valley, Idaho
• Must be able to work in-office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to various locations
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
