We are an active family located in the West Highlands neighborhood of Denver looking for a warm, organized, and dependable Household Manager/Nanny to care for our infant daughter while also helping keep our home running smoothly. We are hoping to build a long term relationship with someone who values partnership, communication, and becoming an important part of our family’s rhythm.

Our family loves spending time outdoors. We enjoy hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, traveling, and attending sporting events. It is important to us that our child grows up experiencing the outdoors and staying active, and we would love a nanny who enjoys planning outings and activities as she grows.

This role is a combination of providing childcare for our infant daughter and household management. Our priority will always be our child’s safety, development, and well being, but we are also looking for someone who enjoys helping create a calm, organized home environment so that we can focus on quality family time after work.

CHILDCARE RESPONSIBILITIES

Our nanny’s primary responsibility will be providing attentive, nurturing care for our infant. We are looking for someone who is engaged and enjoys supporting early development through play and interaction.

Responsibilities include:
- Providing loving care with minimal screen time
- Following and maintaining daily routines including feeding, play, and naps
- Planning simple age appropriate (and fun!) activities such as reading, sensory play, and interactive play
- Encouraging development through conversation and exploration
- Taking our daughter on outings such as neighborhood walks, park visits, library trips, or local classes
- Providing daily updates and open communication with us

CHILD-RELATED HOUSEHOLD TASKS
- Preparing bottles and meals for our child
- Keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organized
- Handling our child’s laundry and clothing organization
- Keeping daily essentials stocked and organized

HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to childcare, we are looking for someone who is comfortable helping with household tasks so our home stays organized and runs smoothly. Many of these tasks will take place during nap times and will be discussed weekly to make sure the workload feels manageable and needs are clear

Tasks include:
- Maintaining a clean and organized home environment
- Tidying common areas throughout the home
- Family laundry two to three times per week
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Vacuuming and mopping as needed
- Cleaning bathrooms and showers periodically
- Changing primary bedroom linens weekly and guest room linens as needed
- Grocery shopping and household restocking
- Light meal preparation for the family (i.e., simple dinner that we can heat up when we get home and packing lunches to bring to the office the next day)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience caring for infants and understanding developmental milestones
- Comfortable following structured feeding and sleep routines
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and proactive
- Trustworthy and safety conscious
- Comfortable balancing childcare and household responsibilities
- Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
- CPR and First Aid certification
- TDAP, MMR, Flu vaccinations

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

One parent works from home ~2x a week and the other is in office. We hope to find someone who is comfortable working in a home where a parent may occasionally be present. We also have family members who visit from out of town periodically, so comfort with occasional family presence in the home is important.

A reliable vehicle is required for this role. Driving may occasionally be needed for outings, typically less than 10 miles per day and will be discussed ahead of time

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- $32 to $37 per hour DOE
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Paid holidays
- Approximately two weeks of paid time off
- Paid sick days
- Paid time off when we travel if care is not needed
- Holiday bonus
- Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process

We hope to find someone who genuinely enjoys working closely with a family and creating a supportive, positive environment. We value trust, open communication, and mutual respect, and we want our nanny to feel appreciated and comfortable in our home.

We are also hoping to grow our family in the future and would love to find someone who is excited about the possibility of staying with us long term.
