Full Time On-Site Graphic Designer / Production Assistant

Job Overview

Family owned printing company is looking for a Full Time On-Site Graphic Designer / Production Assistant to join our team. If you are looking to be part of a team that has been in business for 40 years and continues to finds ways to grow, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities for Graphic Designer

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

Qualifications for Graphic Designer

• Background in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
• 1 - 3 years of experience in graphic design
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Knowledge of Illustrator, Woo Commerce InDesign, Word Press, Photoshop and other graphic design software
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent eye for detail

Production Team Member Requirements:

• Interest in apparel decoration, including screen print, heat transfer vinyl and embroidery.
• Detail-oriented
• High Energy and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Multitasking skills
• High School Education or GED
• Able to work on your feet and lift boxes

Production Team Member Preferred Skills:

• Familiar with the screen printing process, including prepping films and screens
• Familiar with the vinyl process, including weeding and pressing
• Knowledgeable in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign

Production Team Member Duties:

• Working in heat transfer vinyl and printing area
• Operating Heat Press for Vinyl Printing
• Screen printing shirts and more
• Project setup and kitting, including taking inventory of stock
• Support with shop front including limited customer service
• Cleaning Work Areas

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
