SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday: 8:00 pm- 5:00 (40 HPW Guaranteed)

CHILDREN: 6 & 4-year-old & 3 month old baby

SALARY: $45+ DOE (PTO, Benefits & Overtime Opportunities)

About the Family

A warm, welcoming, and down-to-earth Noe Valley family is seeking a proactive Nanny/Family Assistant to join them for the long term. They have three wonderful children, including a sweet 3-month-old baby boy, an energetic preschooler, and a bright and independent 6-year-old. While the primary focus of this role will be caring for their infant son, they are looking for someone who can confidently support all three children and become a true partner in helping their household run smoothly.

The family previously worked with a nanny they absolutely adored and are now hoping to find someone who can bring that same sense of care and connection while also taking a more active role in the day-to-day flow of the household. Both parents have demanding careers and deeply value a caregiver who is dependable, thoughtful, and able to anticipate needs before being asked. They are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy family, takes pride in their work, and is excited to build a meaningful long-term relationship.

Their Ideal Candidate

Their ideal candidate is an experienced nanny who genuinely loves caring for infants while also feeling comfortable engaging older children. They are seeking someone warm, positive, and highly organized who naturally takes initiative and enjoys helping a household stay one step ahead.

This family would love to meet someone confident yet collaborative, nurturing yet capable of setting appropriate boundaries, and able to balance childcare with family assistant responsibilities. A strong communicator with excellent English skills is important, as is someone who can think independently, stay organized, and contribute positively to the overall atmosphere of the home.

The right candidate will be proactive, engaging, and able to seamlessly jump in wherever needed. They will understand that sometimes the greatest support comes from caring for the baby, and other times it comes from folding a load of laundry, preparing a simple meal, or helping the family stay organized while parents spend quality time with their children.

Responsibilities

Childcare Duties

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for a 3-month-old infant
• Supporting the care of a 4-year-old and 6-year-old as needed
• Engaging children in age-appropriate activities and play
• Managing infant feeding, naps, developmental activities, and routines
• Assisting with school pickups and local activities
• Maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment

Family Assistant Duties

• Children’s laundry
• Light meal preparation and dinner prep using family meal kits
• Kitchen resets and dishwasher management
• Tidying and organizing children’s spaces and common areas
• Maintaining order throughout the home
• Running occasional family-related errands as needed
• Helping anticipate household needs and staying ahead of daily tasks
• Supporting the overall flow and organization of the household

Additional Details

• Family car provided for work-related driving
• Occasional weekend support appreciated
• Occasional overnights and domestic travel are a plus but not required
• Family would love someone open to working some holidays when needed
• No pets

To ensure the success of our nanny position, we have established the following requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of recent, professional experience in childcare.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Impressive references from past employers, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills.
• Willingness to undergo two background checks, namely Trustline and Nanny Verify, ensuring the safety and security of our children.
• Valid U.S. citizenship or work authorization.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR certification (if applicable).
• Current vaccinations, including flu, Tdap, and proof of Covid-19 vaccination and boosters.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour
