Located at: S Cook and E Vassar Ave
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The ideal schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:00 AM to 2:00 or 3:00 PM - nannies choice. They would love a date night each week but are open to it being ever other week. They are happy to guarantee 20 hours a week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months through Labor Day
Start Date: Mid-May
Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children, ages 4 and almost 2.

About the Children:
Care will be for two sweet and active little ones. The 4-year-old is a true firstborn—responsible, a rule follower, and a wonderful helper. She enjoys arts and crafts, coloring for hours, and tends to be more of a homebody. She may be shy at first but warms up in a comfortable environment.

The almost 2-year-old is entering the “terrible twos” stage and is beginning to find his voice. He is energetic, playful, and loves being outside. He’s especially into hockey and thrives with an active and engaging caregiver.

About the Family:
This is a fun, active household. Dad is a professional hockey player, and Mom will be in and out of the home.

About the Pets:
The family has two friendly, larger dogs (both female) - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:
They are looking for a reliable, engaging nanny who can keep up with their busy lifestyle and energetic kids. They value flexibility, positivity, and someone who can jump in and be an extra set of hands during the summer.
Key Responsibilities
A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
All standard nanny duties, including children's laundry, cooking and meal prep for kids, loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping play areas tidy and organized.
The candidate must be strong swimmer and prioritize water safety at all times.

Travel Requirements:
No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.
Desired Skills And Abilities
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…
2+ years of experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children
The ideal candidate will be a energetic, playful and physically active nanny who is happy to get out of the house with the children.
Strong swimmer with a focus on safety
Enjoys outdoor activities and hands-on play
Reliable, flexible, and adaptable to changing schedules
Compensation And Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross).

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu and TDaP.
