Functional Consultant SCF & Trade

The successful candidate will have to engage with the Trade, Core /SCF team to handle their day-to-day queries related to Trade/SCF tasks and products (LCs, Purchase Order Financing, Factoring & Reverse Factoring, Payable Financing / Receivable Financing, Buyer / Distributor / Dealer Financing, Long Term Financing, etc.), support Trade/SCF 24/7 for all related applications. Candidate will also be responsible for new requirements gathering, manage the overall system, and assist other teams to perform technical changes in the SCF application, other Trade systems.

Reports to Title: Trade & Treasury Solutions Sr. Manager.

Technical Skills

• Very advanced programming and SQL/PL-SQL language.
• Deep knowledge of Trade Finance.
• Very advanced programming on Java.
• Very advanced on DevOps.
• Deep knowledge on Ethix Core Banking.
• Deep knowledge on Finances, RFR and Profit calculation.
• Very advanced programming Crystal reports.
• Ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists (e.g. IT security, network infrastructure teams).

Specialist Skills

• Understanding of Core Banking, Trade/SCF products, their workflow and life cycle.
• Understanding of Islamic banking and Islamic Products, Murabaha, Istisna, LME, Wakala Ijara is must.
• Experience of working on core banking (Ethix).
• Hands on experience of implementation, configuration and support of Core, Trade/SCF system.
• Proven track record of working experience with Core, Trade/SCF.
• Experience of defining accounting and posting rules for all Trade/SCF products and instruments.
• Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management.
• Results-oriented individual and can work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in requirement definition and analysis, workshop facilitation and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project Management Experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and consultancy skills.
• A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 18 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience of working in a Bank or financial services company (Preferably Islamic Banking).

Previous Experience Required (if Any)

• Minimum 18 Years in banking (10 years in consultation on Core, Trade / Supply chain finance).
