Job Summary: The Fundraiser will manage all donor relations, plan fundraising events, develop fundraising objectives, advise on donor engagement and fundraising strategies, and track donations throughout the year.
Essential Job Functions:

● Builds and maintains relationships with all donors.
● Plans, develops, implements, and organizes fundraising events and campaigns.
● Monitors success for all donation campaigns and events.
● Available to speak at events on behalf of Adagio.
● Engages with people and groups outside of current donors to generate awareness of Adagio and expand donor base.
● Responds to inquiries from donors and other interested parties; when needed, recruits a knowledgeable spokesperson or information source to assist.
● Tracks up-to-date statistics, data, and information concerning Adagio’s donations and remains informed on donor trends in the U.S.
● Coordinates with the Community impact team to maintain a tracker for donations
● Coordinates with the Director of Finance to assess funding needs for Adagio, create short and long term financial objectives, implement plans to fund Adagio, and assess the results
● Ensure timely and meaningful donor reporting and create intentional strategies to strengthen communication, stewardship, and long-term donor partnerships
● Develop and maintain basic fundraising policies
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
● At least two years of work in fundraising or business development OR at least two years of work in a field related to Sarah’s Home required.
● Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
● Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work extremely well as part of a team.
● Well-spoken and comfortable interacting with the public.
● Ability to evaluate the cost of a program or event and compare it to the benefits for the organization.
● Excellent persuasion skills.
● Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism.
Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
