Furniture Carpenter

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Carpenter, located on-site in Doha, Qatar. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Day-to-day tasks include reading blueprints, utilizing both hand and power tools, performing finish carpentry, and framing. The Carpenter will also ensure the quality and safety of all completed work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry skills
• Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools
• Male applicants are preferred
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in carpentry, particularly in event setups, exhibitions, kiosks, or booth installations.
• Proficient in reading and executing technical blueprints and fabrication plans.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and build techniques specific to temporary structures.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute the construction and assembly of exhibition booths, kiosks, and event structures.

• Interpret technical drawings and layout plans to ensure precision in stand and kiosk buildup.

• Coordinate with project managers and on-site teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

• Ensure the structural integrity and finish quality of all wooden and modular components.

• Manage on-site carpentry work during event installations, ensuring compliance with safety and design standards.

• Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean, organized workshop and job site.

PAY : 2000 QAR
