Furniture carpenter

FIVE ATELIERS is the premier interior design company in Dubai and we have successfully completed several projects for many prestigious clients in multiple sectors across the UAE. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing high-quality furniture as per design specifications, ensuring excellent craftmanship and timely completion of projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches and measurements.
• Manufacture, assemble, and repair wooden furniture such as cabinets, tables, wardrobes, and custom pieces.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools and machinery.
• Ensure high-quality finishing, including sanding, polishing, and fitting.
• Install furniture at client sites when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with designers, supervisors, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Report material requirements, defects, or issues to the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Furniture Carpenter or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and measurements accurately.
• Experience in custom furniture and interior fit-out work is an advantage.
• Good physical strength and stamina.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
