Furniture Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end manufacturing operations for premium furniture products. The role involves overseeing production planning, quality control, manpower management, material coordination, and on-time delivery while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control daily furniture production operations
• Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and timelines
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, and sales teams for smooth execution
• Manage carpentry, polishing, upholstery, finishing, and assembly departments
• Implement quality control standards for premium furniture output
• Monitor raw material usage, wastage, and inventory levels
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Supervise factory staff, contractors, and supervisors
• Handle production schedules for custom and bespoke furniture orders
• Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and factory discipline norms
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain production reports, MIS, and workflow documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of wood furniture manufacturing processes
• Experience in solid wood, veneer, polishing, and upholstery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications
• Excellent team leadership and people management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good planning, coordination, and time-management skills
• Familiarity with production planning tools / ERP is a plus

Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Wood Technology, Mechanical, or related field
• 7–15 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, preferably premium or bespoke

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
