GAP Claims Adjuster

Job Description:

A GAP Claims Adjuster supports customers through the claims process for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) coverage. GAP helps cover the difference between a vehicle’s value and the remaining loan or lease balance in the event of a total loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process GAP claims submitted by customers and dealerships
• Gather and review documentation such as loan details, insurance settlements, and vehicle information
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and insurance companies to help move claims forward
• Assist in calculating claim settlements based on provided information
• Ensure claims are handled in line with company guidelines
• Maintain accurate claim records and notes
• Provide updates and support to customers throughout the process

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and work with claims systems and tools
• Previous experience in claims, insurance, or auto finance is helpful but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
