Gas Tech (Wales) Ltd is a dedicated central heating & renewables specialist based in Abertillery, South Wales, committed to providing reliable, quality and safe installation, maintenance, and breakdown services to ensure your heating systems operate efficiently and safely.

We’re looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our growing team, working on a mix of traditional heating systems and low-carbon technologies.

You’ll be carrying out boiler replacements, servicing and maintenance, as well as air source heat pump installation and servicing. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants long-term stability, ongoing training and a clear path to progress their career.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Boiler replacements – domestic boiler swaps and upgrades
• Boiler servicing & maintenance – fault finding, repairs and safety checks
• Air Source Heat Pumps – installation, commissioning, servicing and diagnostics
• General heating system work – associated pipework, controls and system checks
• Completing accurate job reports and keeping customers informed and reassured
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
• Providing a top class service along with high standards

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An experienced Gas Engineer with a background in boiler installs and servicing
• Confident with diagnostics and problem-solving on heating systems
• Professional and customer-focused, with good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Desirable:

• Solid fuel qualifications/experience for solid fuel boiler servicing

• Salary: £35,484.80 – £52,000 OTE (experience-dependent, plus overtime opportunities)
