Gas Engineer

EQUANS are recruiting for a Gas Engineer to be based in Belfast. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £36,000 van & fuel card and benefits package.

General Overview

The Candidate must be fully Gas Safe Compliant Qualified. It would be preferable if the candidate had a Plumbing served apprenticeship. Experience in Repair and service in domestic properties is preferable.

The Candidate must be willing to participate in an OOH Rota.

Key Accountabilities

Impact:

• Understand the aims and objectives of EQUANS and your service area, together with your role in service delivery.
• Ensure that the services provided are to the highest quality/standard with due recognition of client and customer requirements and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with EQUAN’s customer care values and Equal Opportunities Policies.
• Participate in a team working approach to the allocation of duties, supporting and working effectively with colleagues to provide good working relationships within the service.

Complexity:

• Planning and prioritising work within recognised safe systems and in accordance with all aspects of health and safety legislation at all times.
• Undertake any training as identified through the performance review process continually seeking improvement and developing best practice.
• Adhere to and apply legislation and EQUANS procedures as appropriate.

Who are we looking for?

Qualifications or Required Experience:

• Domestic Gas ACS Elements CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, CMDDA1
• Nvq/City and Guilds Craft Certificate and Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing and Heating
• Valid CSR card

Please note, the successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic Access NI check prior to commencing employment.
