GenAI Engineer

This opportunity is for a leading Energy & Gas giant in the UAE. We are seeking a GenAI Engineer to build the backbone of our AI capabilities. You will focus on the infrastructure, integration, and engineering required to deploy robust Generative AI solutions, leveraging the Azure AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, scalable infrastructure for Generative AI applications using Azure AI services.
• Design and build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to ground LLM responses in proprietary enterprise data.
• Manage vector databases and embedding models to support efficient information retrieval.
• Integrate LLM APIs with internal systems, databases, and third-party tools to create functional AI agents.
• Implement guardrails and content filters to ensure AI compliance with corporate security and safety policies.
• Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of AI model calls and data processing pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD workflows for AI applications.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years.
• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Python and API development (REST/GraphQL).
• Deep practical experience with Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Azure AI Search).
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure), security, and networking.
• Ability to design microservices architectures for AI applications.

Bonus

• Experience fine-tuning LLMs (PEFT, LoRA) for specific domain tasks.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certification in Azure AI Engineering.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
