General Accountant

Job Title: General Accountant (Night Shift)

Location: Defence Mor, Walton Road, Lahore, Pakistan
Shift Timings: 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Night Shift)
Salary Range: PKR 60,000 – 80,000 per month

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced General Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This position requires someone who can work independently and meticulously during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and other month-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Support the finance department with various administrative tasks as needed.
• Generate financial reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an accounting role.
• Strong grasp of fundamental accounting concepts and principles.
• Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Experience with Odoo ERP system is highly appreciable.
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work effectively and independently during night shift hours (7 PM to 5 AM).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
