General Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Coordinate with auditors during audits
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax filings
• Support month-end and year-end close processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Proficiency in the system (e.g., Revel, STO, Sage)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and local tax laws
• CPA certification (preferred but not required)
