General Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Accountant/Administrator to join our team at Colour Zone Painting. This position combines financial management, administration, and sales coordination. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to support the General Manager in overseeing accounts, operations, sales tracking, and company-wide tasks. The successful candidate will act as a central link between management, sales, operations, and administration, ensuring smooth and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and VAT summaries.
• Manage supplier payments, client invoicing, receivables, and overdue follow-ups.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and petty cash transactions.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as required.
• Prepare monthly WPS salary statements, including overtime.
• Correct and timely recording of staff accured annual leaves, benefits and compensations, gratuity.
• Monthly reconciliation of bank and credit card statements to record correctly.
• Keep a clear records of PDCs Pyables/Receivables, gurantee cheques.
• Monthly Project costing through correct allocation of daily labour and material cost.
• Timely project progressive invoicing as per contract / lpo terms and set milestones of progress.
• Monthly stock reports.
• Administration & Managerial Support
