General Accountant

Job Title: General Accountant.
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years.
Location: Al-Ain.

Eligibility: Experience in trading and manufacturing companies’ industries with strong knowledge of Odoo system and Open to Arab nationalities only.

Job Summary:

Manage and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting in compliance with company policies and accounting standards handling the full accounting cycle using the Odoo system, preparing financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and record daily financial transactions in accordance.
• Prepare and implement the Chart of Accounts within the Odoo accounting system.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow movements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure proper closing of accounts and support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare VAT-related reports and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a General Accountant.
• Practical experience in using Odoo Accounting System is Must.
• Ability to prepare and implement Chart of Accounts in Odoo.
• Strong experience in trading and manufacturing companies.
• Full knowledge of the accounting cycle and financial reporting preparation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
