About the Role

Effective Solution is hiring a General Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and support our tax compliance work for clients across the UAE. The role suits a detail-oriented professional with solid hands-on experience in both accounting and UAE tax (VAT and Corporate Tax).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts in line with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements
• Prepare and post journal entries, manage AP/AR, and perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle UAE VAT compliance: input/output VAT review, return preparation, and FTA filings
• Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including registration, computations, and return filing
• Maintain organized records of invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation in line with FTA record-keeping rules

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Good written and spoken English (Arabic is a plus)
