GENERAL ACCOUNTANT cum LOGISTICS

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting principles, with proficiency in various accounting software. This role involves managing accounts payable, financial accounting, and providing mentorship to junior staff members. The General Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Duties

• Worki Timings - 9 am - 9pm - ( 1pm-4pm office breaks)
• Friday ( 4pm-9pm)
• 1 day off per eek

• Do Logistics procedures, follow ups, phone calls and send emails.
• Knowledge in IMPORT - EXPORT process and documentations is a plus
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
• Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations across the organisation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance.

Experience

• Proven experience as a General Accountant or similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
• Experience in mentoring or training junior staff is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
