mazeed is a financial management platform that helps businesses automate accounting, simplify tax compliance, and stay ready for e-invoicing through a combination of localized software (SaaS) and Finance-as-a-Service (FaaS). We work with SMEs and growing companies across the GCC, enabling them to operate with clarity, control, and confidence.
We are building the infrastructure for the next phase of financial compliance and digital transformation in the region, with a strong focus on e-invoicing and scalable financial operations
This role is key to managing and maintaining accurate financial records for mazeed’s clients. Responsibilities include recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the country serviced. As the position involves direct communication with clients, frequent interaction may be required to explain financial situations, respond to inquiries, and support advisory needs.
Perform reconciliations of client accounts and balances
Update financial data promptly in the ERP system ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Check and process VAT on sales and purchase invoices to ensure all business transactions are correctly recorded
Reconcile supplier and customer balances, and communicate directly with clients to explain their company’s financial situation
Respond to client’s inquiries through the company's formal client interaction channels
Prepare or contribute to the preparation of financial statements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
Minimum 2 to 4 years of accounting experience
Working knowledge of IFRS
ERP knowledge
Fluent English level
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
Advisory/Client Interaction background services is a great plus
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational and stress management skills
