General Accounting Manager

• Oversee daily general ledger activity and ensure accurate, timely financial recordkeeping.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and support documentation.
• Maintain and monitor the chart of accounts in alignment with company structure and development projects.
• Coordinate with project accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate financial data.
• Prepare and review internal financial statements and management reports.
• Work with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants during audits and compliance reviews.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis for development projects and corporate entities.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering professional growth and team collaboration.
