General Contractor (Licensed GC)

We are seeking a Licensed General Contractor (GC) to join our growing team in Central Florida. This role is focused on project leadership, estimating, pre-construction and construction management, with responsibility for overseeing projects from initial budgeting through execution.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in residential and commercial construction, strong capabilities in estimating, take-offs, and bidding, and is looking to grow within a dynamic and expanding construction company. Experience in public works or roadway/infrastructure small projects is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review estimates, take-offs, and bid proposals
• Lead projects from pre-construction through completion
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Ensure compliance with Florida building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
• Support company growth in public bids and infrastructure opportunities

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Active Florida General Contractor License (GC)
• Proven experience in residential and commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of estimating, take-offs, and bidding processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with public works, FDOT, or roadway/infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software
• Experience with estimating tools such as Bluebeam or equivalent
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

Pay: $6,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
