General Counsel - FinTech

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the legal function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with the Central Bank of the UAE, DIFC, DFSA, ADGM, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
• Provide legal guidance on new product launches.
• Manage external legal advisors effectively and cost-efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Law degree from a reputable university;
• 12+ years PQE, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in FinTech, payments, banking, or financial services law within the UAE and international markets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Excellent communication skills.
