General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer)

Overview:

Leader Pet Food Company is seeking a highly qualified General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer) to lead our legal department and provide comprehensive legal support. This pivotal role will involve advising the company on various legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulations, and mitigating legal risks associated with our operations in the pet food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all legal aspects of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team and Board of Directors.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and manage relationships with external counsel.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to uphold best practices in compliance.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure company adherence.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience as General Counsel or in a similar executive role, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, compliance regulations, and intellectual property.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide sound legal counsel.
