General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer)

Overview:

Halo & Co. Trading is seeking a highly skilled General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer) to oversee our legal affairs and provide strategic legal guidance. This pivotal role will play a critical part in safeguarding the company’s interests and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s legal department and manage all legal matters within the organization.
• Provide strategic legal advice to the executive team and Board of Directors on various issues, including contracts, compliance, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company’s interests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while minimizing legal risks.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel when needed.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the business environment.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Saudi Arabia.
• Extensive experience as General Counsel or in a senior legal role, preferably within the trading or commercial sector.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, compliance regulations, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
