Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic Mayfaire dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and have experience in various dental procedures. Must love people and have a passion for the profession!!
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently, utilizing aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Provide patient education on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices, including proficiency in software such as Dentrix.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in both clinical practice and documentation.
