Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, including preventive, restorative, and surgical dental services. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating oral diseases, performing dental procedures, and ensuring a positive patient experience while adhering to the highest standards of dental care.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
  • Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques through continuous education.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical documentation.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with the unique needs of children is essential.
  • Ability to perform complex procedures such as root canal therapy and dental fabrication.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.
  • Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
